New Notes from Shelly

Xin Chou – Metal Ox month

January 6, 2012 - February 4, 2012

(you may have to refresh your browser for updated content)

January 's Ox-ruled month completes the last or "12th moon" of the -yin Rabbit energies and begins the new cycle of the +Yang Dragon vibes. The stable Ox favors a long-range 'marathon' style, rather than an instant 'sprint' approach. The essence of the Ox is "endurance" and activities that center around ones heritage, family duties and work ethic are favored now.

The Ox makes up part of the "literary cross"  together with the Dragon, Goat and Dog. Many of the great music masters have these four signs in their birth charts. January is a great month for nurturing artistic potential and beginning long-term creative endeavors.

Best month for restless Rats, sage Snakes and feisty Roosters. Challenging month for creative Goats and talkative Horses.

Happy New Year!

There are two faces which make up our Personality.
The first is "temperament" which is our inclinations, tendencies or Pre-disposition.
The second is "character" which is our actual behavior, habits or current disposition.
